Pravara Public School is the premier institution started in 1964 to impart instructions through English medium on the Public School lines. It remains one of the best places to have your pre-college education in a non-corrupting and sportingly active backdrop. The school constantly strives to maintain proper educational environment and discipline in order to help the children realise their future potential in various fields. The school has also been adopted by Sports Authority of India (SAI) for moulding future sportsman of National and International calibre. At present, there are 1332 student's studying from pre-primary to Higher Secondary level.

The school campus consists of the main building, student housing, faculty residential quarters and a couple of sports complex facilities.

The main building contains all the class rooms, labs and offices. The building is two storeyed and most offices are on the ground floor. It also houses the school library. Though its a great place to put all your inquisite minds at work it often is a place of compulsory or fill-in classes during which a couple of magazines are randomly placed infront of you to 'maybe cultivate' your interest in them.

The sports facilities are great though a few uninterested ones try to break free of the 'one-sem one-sports' shackle at times. The facilities comprise of a good 25m swimming pool, a gymnasium, a 400m track, two each of tennis and field hockey fields and five basketball courts. There also is a great soccer field slightly off bounds though but thats a result of our ever growing needs with constant land resources.
There also a cricket pitch but they have to share their standing field with either the field hockey field or the hostile athletes.

The inter-house tournaments and the annual athletic meet are great sporting competitions and often involve lotta emotions and passions run high. But thats commitment and a great display of camradarie.
